If you are boxing enthusiast, it is likely that you will want to be at the MGM Grand in Nevada on the 12th of November 2011 to witness the epic WBO Welterweight boxing championship between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao. This is truly set to be an awesome fight that is not to be missed by anybody with an interest in welterweight boxing.
If you are travelling from Toronto, the best way to get to Las Vegas is probably to fly. There are between four and six flights available each day from Toronto to Las Vegas, being:
- The 6.45am Sunwing flight
- The 7.00am Sunwing flight
- The 8.50am Air Canada flight
- The 9.35am Westjet flight
- The 12.00pm Air Canada flight
- The 8.40pm Air Canada flight
- The 9.00pm Westjet flight
All these flights are direct and affordable and you could get some great deals by spending some time comparing the market or speaking to travel agents.
Your other option would be to go on a road trip, which can be a lot of fun if you are going with a group of friends. It is possible to drive from Toronto to Las Vegas in one go, if you have multiple drivers and have a good schedule. It is a long drive at 3,631 kilometres, which should take you around 1 day and 12 hours without stops. You will also encounter several toll roads.
Although driving over can be a great experience if you have the time, and it will also potentially allow you to spend some more time in Las Vegas and its surrounding areas itself, the best option probably is to fly. This will generally also be cheaper than driving and with so many flights every day, you are sure to be able to fit at least one into your schedule.
If you can’t make it to the MGM Grand we invite you to watch Pacquiao vs Marquez live from home!
